Hi! I applied for Sac's spring 08 nursing program. Has anyone who has applied had any trouble getting info from the nursing program? I never received an acceptance OR a rejection letter. I can not get a hold of anyone to talk to. I leave messages and get no responses. When I have gone to the school all I get is "the run around".
Anyone have any advice?
I do not have eneough pre-reqs to apply to a bsn school and I do not know of any other asn school in San Antonio.
i was just accepted for the CMP for Jan 2012 and my GPA is 2.33.... but all my pre-reqs were done... i have actually got accepted 3 times but was unable to attend the other 2 times... the uniforms have changed as of Fall 2011... so check the website for current changes to the program....
It's kinda fun to read the comments about SAC. I graduated 30 years ago, yup when the dinosaurs roamed the earth. I don't know what it's like now but when I went it was a wonderful experience. Most of the instructors were beyond fabulous and the couple that were not actually taught me some things (about how not to be as a nurse). Upon graduation I found myself comfortably prepared to begin my nursing career. I've had a wonderful career and feel blessed for the type of nurse I feel SAC cultivated in me. Best of luck to all of you who are entering this amazing career.
I graduated SAC in 1999, our classes were in quarters, not semesters so we had lots of opportunities to get in. Is it not that way anymore? All I can recommend to you is keep applying and keep getting your pre-reqs out of the way while keeping your GPA high.
