San Antonio College Spring 2016

Figured I might as well start one for Spring of 2016. First year they're using the TEAS scores. I wonder what they'll be looking for. Registration opens June 1st!

I am applying for Fall 2016 at SAC. It is almost April and I have not heard from them yet. They said, they will be sending out acceptance letters at the beginning of April. I have also talked to them about the "work experience" requirements for the RN program. And the way they evaluate your entrance in the program is mostly based on the TEAS score, and work experience (in the Medical Field). There is something very important to consider though. Even if you have many Certifications, which you will also include in your application, you are not guaranteed to be given points for each certification. Unless you proof that you have worked in whichever your are certified in. In my case. I am CMA, Phlebotomist and EKG certified, but i have only worked as Phlebotomist. Which means i will not be given points for the CMA, and EKG certificate. will only get points for Phlebotomist.

They have points system. You can find it on the website. I was accepted with no experience except a receptionist role.

You can find their requirements on the website. I forget what they are. They arent outrageous though.

Hello,

They don't look for a specific scored on the TEAS. Although it is important to have a good scored because that will increase your points and therefore the chance to get into the program.

I have since accepted a seat at Baptist for summer 2016, but has anyone heard that applied for San Antonio College Fall 2016?

Hey! I started a post about Fall 2016 San Antonio College just last week, but only one person had responded. Neither of us have received anything from the school!! Last time I spoke with someone at the Nursing Department they said that letters/notifications would be sent out by the end of this past week. I'm just playing the waiting game and already started my application for UIW Spring 2017**.

Really? She told me they would all be sent out by then -_- haha I'm getting so anxious I can't sleep at night.
