Hello, I was wondering if anyone has been accepted to the Fall program. If so, what was your composite score. Thank You

WOW i just heard a student post on FB that she got denied, but she had a 4.0 all pre-reqs done, no repeats....

I am so nervous I still have not received any notification...

:dead:

Do you know her composite score?

I'm a "g" haven't heard anything either. Don't worry I know everything will work out for everyone. Last semester my friend applied it denied. They called her on spring break that they had an opening and she hadn't done micro and ended up passing with a C. Just stay positive everyone :)

Something's up with that!! They messed up. How can u have a 4.0 have ur pre req's done, no entrance test and get denied crazy. I have a 3.0 I think @ sac, one repeat & all my pre req's done. We'll see!! I'm giving up my spot if I get in, hopefully it goes to someone worth getting that call!!!

I agree. Did you get into somewhere else as well? I wanted to apply other places but didn't know where else to go...

I got in for my BSN @ Wayland. That was my first choice but I figured I'd apply for ADN programs just in case. You could have applied @ baptist health system they have a school. U have to take the TEAS for every other school except SAC. But I looked into many schools. Everyone says that WBU has a lot of pre req's but its about the same everywhere else. Plus WBU's program is on pat booker & I live in the schertz cibolo area, can't beat that no traffic. They just changed their pre req's. they dont require chem any more, that was weird. I had to do one. I had to do 2 upper level English classes but ill be getting my BSN. I know this girl that has her ADN & she can't find a job. Methodist told her their not hiring ADN's anymore. She finally got a job but at a nursing home. That's why I just went the extra step for the BSN. Cuz SAC is 3 years I figured y not one more.

Do you happen to know the link where I can see the pre reqs? That's the only downfall of sac its an associates program! I would really appreciate it.

Yeah I know but the good thing is that it's the only school I know of that u don't need the entrance test like HESI or TEAS. At least not yet!! WBU just implemented the test last Fall. Here's the link if you haven't started another BSN program it'd be good to stick to one program cuz I did my pre req's for UTHSCSA then decided on this school I took lots of classes that I didn't need for WBU & wasted time & money cuz many classes I had already done for UTHSCSA WBU didn't need, but oh well paid off & now I'm in

I would still need 8 more classes to apply to the BSN program at WBU. and only 4 for UTHSC. It all depends if I get into the ADN program, if not I will continue to finish my pre-reqs.

I will do the same! Goodluck :)

Yeah but WBU let's u leave 9 credit hours while u are in the program and u don't have to pay parking, laptop, spot holding fees, library fees, and all them extra fees. & it's easier to get in!! Tooo many applicants at UTHSCSA, every year WBU gets more ppl. I wish I knew about it in 2009 when they had like 10 students lol. Well good luck!!

UTHSCSA requires the HESI which is way easier then the TEAS!!

I'm considering WBU for the LVN to BSN track.

I just need to finish up the prerequisites. Still need a couple like govt, pols, phys Ed, biol, nutrition & the religion classes.

I rather put my time into a BSN route.
