Samuel Merritt University ELMSN Spring 2022

Published

Hi fellow applicants!

I know it's quite early since the deadline is July 1, 2021, but I thought I would get this forum started! I submitted mine early and I received an automated email this morning confirming that they received my application. I checked forums for the previous cohort and it seems like they did not send out interview invites until mid-September. Hopefully, this year will be a little quicker. Good luck to you all! ?

I received this email ". At this time we are pleased to offer you a place on the waitlist for the ELMSN FNP Spring 2022 class. You are currently number 1.0 of 21."

Does this mean I'm #1 on the waitlist?

What are the chances of being accepted from here?

Hey! I just wanted to let you know that I will unfortunately be deferring my acceptance offer. So, you'll likely be accepted since you're waitlist #1. I hope that helps! I know how nerve-wracking it is to be waiting again! I'll be sending my declination today so I'm not sure when you'll hear from them.

Good luck!

Hello,

Thank you so much for this message. I hope wherever you go, it is filled with nothing but many blessings.

This is a life change for me and it means a lot ?

Hello all, congrats to those that have been accepted. I was wondering if anyone applied to the  CM/FNP program and is looking at/ concerned about the costs? I know the ADN is much cheaper (and still good money), but takes a while to get into the lottery. Any insight as we all make our final decisions? Thank you and congrats again!

I got accepted to the ELMSN-CM program in SAC!! So excited to meet you all.

Congratulations! I interview Monday. Do you have any advice???

Thank you! Don't forget the basic questions like "Tell me about yourself?". If you have a solid answer for that then it breaks the ice and allows the rest of the interview to be really conversational. Also don't forget to have a few questions prepared to ask at the end. Good luck!

Congrats! You should join the FB page! https://www.facebook.com/groups/2915861095410138/

I think FNP and cm take classes together the first year!?

@cap123 did you get into the FNP program too?

@Cassie F.No I didn't apply to the FNP program, but I did apply and was accepted to the ABSN program.

@cap123 I am curious for the people who applied to both the ABSN program and the ELM program, which one they are more interested in. I see the benefit of being done more quickly, but also the end goal of NP.

Still waiting on an email for waitlist movement. ???
