Samuel Merritt University ELMSN FNP/CM - 2025

Hello everyone! I wanted to start a forum for those applying to the ELMSN FNP or CM program at Samuel Merritt for 2025!  I am currently applying to the ELMSN FNP in Sacramento which should be starting in January 2025. If anyone is also applying (either location) for the beginning of 2025 please reply and share any thoughts and questions! 🙂

I don't have their contact info, but at the nursing success seminar some people go part time after the 5th semester when they pass the NCLEX and work as a RN and finish their degree full time or part time. This is for the ELMSN either track, but for ABSN I heard it's very difficult due to the time.

Classes start 1/6 

orientation is 12/12 & 12/13 

I was told in interview and from students in program that working the first year is nearly impossible but some can manage 20 ish hrs.  For the CM after you sit for the NCLEX you have the option to go part time so you can work.

I just paid the deposit for the CM program and am looking for potential roommates since the school doesn't offer housing. Is anyone interested in renting a place together (females only)? Also, if you have any resources about housing in the area, I'd appreciate your help!

No I haven't heard anything! but they did say "early next week" when I interviewed last week. So might hear tomorrow

For anyone that interviewed on the last interview day Oct 8, was there 12 students being interviewed or was it less than that? Just trying to calculate how many students were interviewed LOL so nervous I want to pass out
