Don't lose hope yet! My friend who was accepted to the Summer cohort, didn't receive anything when everyone else got accepted. Eventually my friend got in to the campus that they wanted (even though it was so much later than everyone else).  I recommend you to keep checking. Good luck to everyone else && thank you

for admitted students, how do we enable the background check and drug screen? I don't see anything on the portal for those.

I did submit my immunizations . Why can't you access the portal? I have had some trouble w passwords and have had to reset them a few times. 
I need to get a TB test as well.

I'm not sure why. Did you have to wait for 5 business days after you paid the deposit to access the portal?

Does anybody who got accepted already still have courses in progress?  I applied in March for 1. San Mateo 2. Sacramento but have not heard back yet.  I have three in progress prereqs that will finish August 5th so I am wondering if that has something to do with me not hearing back yet.  I assumed I would have at least received a conditional acceptance.

Also, does anybody know the exact start dates for the San Mateo and Sac campuses?

Hi! I personally don't have courses in progress but I do know the start date for Sac is 9/2!

Does anyone have access to their student health portal to submit the health requirements? Mine keeps saying unable to locate record and I have been waiting over 5 days now after paying my deposit. Also, does anyone know how we are supposed to register for courses?

I was also wondering if that is the reason because I am still taking 3 courses that will be completed by the last week of July. 
I received an email last week asking me to update my courses.

@Ash66 yes, I got accepted and have 1 IP course this Summer. the exact dates can be found here on the academic calendar for your specific cohort (https://www.samuelmerritt.edu/registrars-office). it's on their website under registrars office, then select the academic calendars dropdown. the academic calendars are super helpful bc they show everything like class start date, orientation date, when to sign-up for classes, breaks, etc. fall '25 SM starts (11/14) and fall '25 sac starts (9/2) 🙂

@WhiteeBlossomm check here for your specific cohort (https://www.samuelmerritt.edu/registrars-office). the academic calendars list a time period for "registration". I think that is when we sign-up for classes. I hope this helps 🙂

@Gurman Knight have you reached out to a counselor to ask about the status of your application(s)? also, did you meet with a counselor 1:1 via zoom to review your prerequisites and have them give you an evaluation of everything?
