Hi ya'll, starting a discussion for those who applied to Summer 2025 cohort at SMU! I'm curious to know if anyone has gotten any emails/updates? I personally applied to the Oakland campus. Goodluck everyone! : ).

@nursee2b that's interesting because they told me 48hrs later. I found the student health portal and was able to upload some of my documents there

I just clicked on the student health portal after I saw this and I am able to see the page for immunization information. However, I still do not see the checklist on the portal.

@NuRS yeah I guess it does take 5 to 7 days, when I called registration they told me normally it's 48hrs, but I also haven't seen anything and it's been more than 48hrs

Yeah I called them around 10am and thats what they told me. I also see the health portal now, it wasnt available Friday but still no checklist. The drug test/background check are through castle branch which is explained in the video and then the badge info is available after the online orientation so I think the only things missing that we need the checklist for are insurance and BLS.

I believe that we are no longer eligible for the pell grant but we may still be able to apply for loans and work study maybe? I def have to check in with the counselors. Does anyone know?

In the health portal theres uploads and immunizations. It says to put in the dates and results under immunization first then upload a document. Theres not any actual forms, theres only a hyperlink to PPD, IGRA, or chest x-ray. I believe you would just upload the test results that you get from your doctor. They also said that we should receive emails with additional information on this within 5-7 days for the next steps after paying the deposit  so I'm personally just going to wait until then.
