Hi ya'll, starting a discussion for those who applied to Summer 2025 cohort at SMU! I'm curious to know if anyone has gotten any emails/updates? I personally applied to the Oakland campus. Goodluck everyone! : ).

Does anyone know what the course schedule is like? The website says "on campus" but is any of it hybrid? Or do you truly have to be in person for every class?

If you go into registration on the SMU portal the Summer 25 class schedule is available. I think registration for us is week of April 28th but we can look and add them into our cart right now.

From what I see on registration its 6/11/25-7/17/25 Health Assessment 1 Monday 8am-12:20pm, Heath Assessment Lab Tuesday 8am-4:50pm (hour and some break in between), and Intro to Nursing & the Healthcare Monday 1:30-7:20pm. Then it changes 7/18/2025. 

Thats for the oakland campus, not sure if its different for others

My friend got waitlisted for Oakland #8/9. Does everyone know when we will hear back if we're accepted? Or if we moved onto another number of the waitlist?

I'm in the same boat (#3/9) and I have not heard a thing. I know decisions for the entry level masters FNP come out soon and that may cause some movement. I was hoping we might get an update today.
