Will be putting in applications into some programs later this year and SMU is within my top 3. Has any students/previous students attended these informational sessions that is being offered? It's a 2 day stint with day one meeting staff and program coordinators etc and the second being more hands on with airway simulations and what not.
Thing is, I need to consider it's 350$ to register, flight tickets (not cheap atm), and likely will be calling out from work. If anyone has any experience with these sessions, positive or negative, please chime in. I don't want to waste my money/time when I'm set on applying anyways.

I am debating on whether or not I should attend as well. I missed the session in Tennessee this past March. I saw that they only have 60 slots for the airway simulation. Let me know what you decide.
I will be seeing you there if you decide to go! Just a heads up, if you have been counseling for the crna program at SMI, they have these "sponsorship" spots and they will let you attend for free. I believe the counselor said she had 8 sponsorship spots. I didn't have to pay a dime!
