Hi all - wanted to start a discussion for the SMU ABSN (San Mateo) Fall 2016 applicants. Has anyone heard back from SMU regarding decisions? Fingers crossed!

I just got my acceptance letter today at 0800 sharp (pacific time). For future applicants my TEAS overall was 80% and my science GPA was 3.1, overall GPA 3.45. This was the second time I had applied. All of my prerequisites were complete before I applied again. Hope this helps to educate future applicants that you do not have to get straight A's or have ridiculously high TEAS scores to get accepted. Just be tenacious!

Just got my acceptance letter today via e-mail as well. So excited to start this new chapter with you all :)

Congrats to everyone that got in!

Also, I'm currently taking Pathophysiology through Samuel Merritt online for the summer. They should also be offering it in the fall but you may have to call for the schedule since they have not posted any dates so far.

I took Patho at Merritt College in Oakland it was a good course, not sure if they offer it in the Summer. I would recommend it if it's available though.
