Samuel Merritt ELMSN Fall 2009 Interviews!

Hello!

I just received a call to set up an interview for Samuel Merritt's ELMSN-FNP program in Oakland (Fall 2009 cohort)!! I'm super excited!!!!

They want me to come in on February 9th already...so soon! I have been trying to keep up with the posts on this site, but haven't found anything else about Samuel Merritt for this year. Are there any other applicants out there? Has anyone else received an interview?

Waiting all this time is driving me crazy. Are we sure they didn't misplace are folders. Has anyone called. If so who and were they OK with the call?

Hey gooboo, i got my rejection letter today. It was postmarked yesterday so they are clearly still sending things out. Hopefully you will have better luck than I did....

I got my rejection letter from USF. And it was pretty tough considering all the qualifications that we all have! BUT, one qualification we do have that they don't know about is our persistence!!! We can't give up. Keep your spirits up and just try again!

sorry you guys....i'm expecting the bad news today as well. what does worry me though is that i applied really late. i think interviews were already done. hope my stuff isn't in the mailmans locker...good luck all see you soon in RN school!!

I think there are 28 spots for the ELMSN-NP program. There were something like 180 applications and roughly 80 or 90 were invited to interview. I recieved a letter from them that I have been waitlisted #8 of 28. I'm still hopeful that I will get in.

I have a BA in International Relations, a 4.0 in my science prerequisites, overall GPA about 3.3, no prior medical experience, NET 97th percentile, no volunteer work, speak Spanish fluently.

No, I haven't heard anything yet.

i'm number 8 for the case management. is anyone else on the waitlist and have you heard anything. i emailed Anne Seed to see if i should repeat the NET as well after receiving that info. . i hope she is ok with that question. during my interview it was mentioned taking the net more than once can be a negatively affect your application. i lwas looking for some input. do i guys think that was a reasonable question?? what kind of questions have you guys emailed??

I doubt that they reevaluate any of the applications after they have sent the acceptance and wait list notices.

I believe the Samuel Merritt EL-MSN program has 24 spots.
