Samuel Merritt BSN Spring 2019

Hi all! I wanted to start this forum for potential Samuel Merritt BSN students. I have read over the forums from previous semesters and wanted to create this one for all of us anxiously awaiting the results for admission. This area was created for potential questions, shared experience, and to keep each other updated on any incoming news. I know we still have a couple months before we hear back, but maybe it will ease our minds a bit through discussion.

Anyone want to share their stats? Not sure if my GPA/test scores are competitive enough.

Wow! You guys have really good hesi scores. I have a 4.0 science gpa, 3.8 overall, and an 86 on the hesi if they are combining the best scores from each time (i took it twice). Im nervous and hope my hesi scores are enough to make it in. I also applied to csueb, and sfsu but samuel merritt is my first choice.

Does anyone know if they look at volunteer/healthcare experiences? I did put it in one of the sections in the nursingcas application that I'm a CNA but I wasn't sure if they look at it.

Hey everyone! This wait is killing me! As for stats, I got a 93.6% on the hesi, a 3.75 science gpa, and an overall gpa of 3.75. I applied with 80hrs of experience. I hope it is enough! Goodluck everyone!

So, Samuell Merritt is at Chabot and Kristina told me that they have the decisions made and they just need to be entered into the computer. She said that we will deffinetly have them first thing Monday.

She actually told me that if she gets everything put into the computer that she will send out the emails early but I don't want to get anyones hopes up
