oh nice! Sadly it’s my 3rd time applying and the second had different questions than my first application.

Oh nice! Were there any changes to your application?

Has everyone here been a CNA or something  hands on? Worried it might set me behind in school. I have healthcare experience but not hands on care.

Also, for those reapplying (or maybe others who have experience), are you changing your essay responses?

I’m going to in case they interpret copy and pasting as “lazy.” Although it’s unlikely that they have the time to put them side by side and compare ?

I didn’t change them but I went through and added or reworded things as needed

Thanks for your responses, @Allnurse9877 and @lexey58!

I got in this time. But for my second app I only changed if the questions were different. I copied pasted some of my old PS in my new one.

I have experience working as a caregiver and now I am a CNA working at hospital. I think it is beneficial to have pt care skills under your belt but honestly I think you will be fine because I have to learn all new materials as much as everyone does in the program.

Hi @Captaingecko,
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences with the program so far! That was very informative and helpful! I did have a few other questions though.. do you know how many days a week students usually have clinicals ? Also are the classes and clinicals on the same day? For clinicals, do most people get placed at the same hospital/clinic for each placement (e.g., o'connor for our med surg placement) or is it pretty evenly divided between multiple sites?

Thanks so much in advance!! ?
