Hi everyone! I'm starting this discussion for those who applied for smu ABSN program for the Spring 2024 cohort! I was curious if any of y'all received updates/email from smu yet. Good luck everyone!

Hi @tauj,

I received the same email on 7/11 saying they received my application and have "completed the preliminary review of your application(s)."

It looks like the fall cohort started hearing more back around 3 weeks after their extended deadline (June 1). I have also heard that normally it is 4-10 weeks for acceptances. Not sure what to expect re timeline. 

Which campus did you apply for?

Hello everyone! I also received an email saying they have received my application. I spoke to the San Mateo counselor during the Nursing Success Seminar held on June 30th that we will most likely receive acceptance letters or rejection letters sometime early-mid October. 

Hope you all get accepted!

Hi! I received the same email on 7/10 about the completion of the preliminary review. I applied for sac campus! Hbu?

Hopefully we find out a lil bit sooner, fingers crossed! Good luck and hopefully you get in as well!
