I am curious to know where students applying to or have been accepted to SMU's ABSN program are taking pathophysiology and pharmacology?
I found one thread from 2009 from a few students who felt like the online courses weren't very beneficial or adequate. Of course things can change in 6 years.
Although online options would work best with my current work schedule I would also be open to in-class options in the Bay Area.
According the SMU website they strongly suggest University of Rochester for these two courses however when I called the University of Rochester they stated that the combined pathophysiology and pharmacology course they offer is reserved for only their nursing students.
I have a classmate and friend who has taken both classes at Solano CC. IIRC, she took both classes online, and had a generally positive experience. She, too, will be applying to the ABSN at Samuel Merritt.
