Hi everyone! Just wanted to get the conversation started for those who applied for the ABSN Fall 2019 cohort. I applied for the Sacramento location but would love to connect with all who applied in general! Good luck everyone!

Hmmmm I’ve only received an email called “Join the SMU Admitted Student Portal”. Not “Samuel Merritt University Computer Login Information” yet.

So you also got the email telling you that you were admitted? They sent out a couple other emails this morning. That's the issue. You can try your [email protected] for the letter of intent sign on. They use whatever your preferred name you listed on the application. The acceptance letter states you will receive the login information shortly. What time did you receive you acceptance letter?

I got my acceptance letter at 7am! Then I received emails about fafsa and portal!

How odd. I received my acceptance letter at 7:06 am, and the login info at 8:11. I'd call them today and see what the deal is.

Congratulations to everyone who got accepted! That’s fantastic!! Just out of curiosity, is there anyone on the board who is still waiting for acceptance/waitlist/rejection emails? My inbox is still empty. ?

I got my email this morning. #7 on the waitlist. I have a friend who was waitlisted his first time applying and went from 14 to 2. He applied again the next round and got accepted.

Im having trouble doing my letter of intent. I can login to the portal but then when I press letter of intent and it asks me to login again it states my password is wrong. Anyone else struggling? Maybe because I made login before I was actually admitted?

Me too! But riverdancer says we’re missing an email about computer login that gives us our smu email login!

Your portal log in is not the same as the letter of intent log in. That is the log in on the email titled computer log in information.

great figured it out! I can make a fb page for the San Mateo cohort if people either give me their email for that

Ohhhhh I figured it out! Search “Samuel Merritt University Computer Login Information” in your email inbox and you should find the email from long time like when I signed up for a course at samuel Merritt but never end up attending.
