I haven't seen any threads for those of us applying for Samuel Merritt's ABSN program for Fall 2015, so I thought I'd start one! Lets stick together and share some information along the way!
I'm a little bit nervous about my stats..
Previous Bachelor's degree in Health Science & Nutrition, Various university projects
Nursing GPA: 3.7
Overall GPA: 3.89
Volunteer at a hospital's Emergency Room, and oncology center
Good luck!! You never know honestly I had a friend who was 37 on the waitlist and got in! It was about a month before classes started though so be prepared to start quick if this is the school you're waiting on.
Oh wow! That's crazy. I had no idea that they keep you on the waitlist for that period of time. Here's hoping! Did you accept their offer of admission? How much deposit do they ask for? Sorry for all the questions!

Hello Everyone! I graduated in April 2015 and the program was the most amazing experience. Those on the waitlist. They usually take at least the first 10 because people tend to drop if financial aid doesn't come through or what not. good luck!! Any other questions feel free to message me!
Oh also I'm getting rid of 2 xs scrub tops for 30$. I would recommend having 3 because after clinical and care plans its impossible to wash your stuff because all you want to do is sleep after. PM if interested. it can get expensive at SMU!!
