I haven't seen any threads for those of us applying for Samuel Merritt's ABSN program for Fall 2015, so I thought I'd start one! Lets stick together and share some information along the way!
I'm a little bit nervous about my stats..
Previous Bachelor's degree in Health Science & Nutrition, Various university projects
Nursing GPA: 3.7
Overall GPA: 3.89
Volunteer at a hospital's Emergency Room, and oncology center

Congratulations to everyone who has been accepted!! I haven't heard anything and it is making me really nervous. I hope they are not done with all the phone calls!
got a call for acceptance today for November...then later got a call with an offer to begin in June...literally in two weeks! Anyone else get this call? The only difference would be that the November clinicals were originally in SF and the June ones will be in the San Jose/San Mateo area.

Congratulations to all those who were accepted! I too was accepted and was offered June; however, I've decided to start with the November cohort. Excited! I tried looking for a Facebook group for our November 2015 start and didn't seem to find one. There is a SMU group that states "Fall 2015"; however, that group is graduating Fall 2015. The group I created is closed, but accepted students can request to join. In Facebook you can search "Samuel Merritt - ABSN San Mateo November Class of 2016" to find the group I created. Congratulations again and I look forward to meeting everyone in our cohort in the coming Fall!
Thank you for creating one! :) I can't seem to find the Facebook group either though. I'm guessing its because its a closed group. Is there a way for you to send us a link?
The group name is Samuel Merritt - ABSN San Mateo November Class of 2016
I realize the name is long - not by choice - was trying to follow previous cohort's naming conventions in an attempt to eliminate confusion. Let me know if you guys still can't find/add the group and I'll just change the group to open or something.
