What part of California? Hourly wages for RNs vary by as much as $20 depending on where you are in the state.
I'm in Northern California.
In the SF Bay Area, in the neighborhood of $40 to $45 an hour. Sacramento, $33-38, anywhere else, comparable to what was quoted for SoCal.

hello! april2009:
How do you find the job in snf facilities? do you just walk in and ask?
I really need to try as a way to pay for the bills and education loan.
your comment will be deeply appreciated.
sincerely
