Hello, My family is thinking of relocating from Dover, DE to Columbus, OH (actually Dublin) and I was wondering if anyone can give me an idea of the salary an RN (ADN) makes in this area. I currently work in orthopaedics/ med-surg. Any info would be helpful! Thanks!

Hi, I am a new nurse, graduated Dec. 2005. I work for Ohio Health (Riverside, Grant, Doctors) and my base salary is $20.91/hr. Weekend differential is $4.75/hr and night differential is $4.75/hr. I have been employed for Ohio Health for the last 4 months. I don't know what the salary is for an experienced nurse, though. Hope this helps!

Oooooooh, you are lucky, Dublin is a NIIIIICE place to live and work in. :) My sister in law teaches band at Davis Middle School so if you have or ever have any kids, get them to learn a musical instrument and then send them to Davis! =) My husband and I are planning on moving in the next couple of years and Columbus is one place that I wouldn't mind relocating to at all. It's not at the TOP of our list but it's on there.

Anyway, I was about to say that if they pay their nurses what they pay their teachers up there, you'll be in good shape.
