Has anyone received their acceptance letter for Spring 2013? I heard letters started going out last week...

this is the first time im hearing we have to get a stethoscope?! can anyone confirm that i've ordered all my books pretty much done with everything and just waiting on the orientation and to buy the uniforms

anyone attending in jan in queens??.....

farari143 ... I'm attending queens during the day also, I posted my schedule in earlier posts ... How did you order your books already? Is there a list somewhere?

Just got accepted to the night program in Queens(I was told only 3 seats were left and if I wanted the day I would be out on a list). Now I have two weeks to get in all medical forms, but have to wait till I receive the package in the mail with all the forms. Honestly, I don't like my schedule. They transferred in all my classes. All I am left with are nursing classes which is Mon-Fri(except Tuesday). I don't want to sound ungrateful, but it would suck to get on the train for one hour only to attend a two hour class and then come back on the train for another hour. That was the schedule they gave me without a clinical day. Where do they plan on squeezing that in? I'm sorry! I really don't want to sound so negative, but I was hoping to work on the side to support my kids.

Monday-no classes

Tues- NUR 101-fundamentals med surgical 9:30-11

NUR 101-Fundamentals med surgical lab 1-2:30

Wed- NUR 102-therapeutic communications 8:30-10

NUR103-Math for meds 11-11:30

Thurs- NUR 101-fundamentals med surgical lab 9-10:30

Fri- NUR 100-foundations of nursing concepts 1-3:30

I went to orientation last Sat! I have the textbook list for this semester if anyone wants to start buying them before they get the list at the next orientation

Is the list the same for staten island location? Also we buy the books from the school? How was orientation what did they go over? Thanks
