Okay so I'm finishing my LPN licensure, and just the rest of my Prereqs. That were not done previously for my RN that I was on a waiting list for. Long story short I decided to go a shorter route and do LPN before and fast track everything. Fast Forward I'll be graduating in a few months and of course I'm planning ahead. I was wondering if anyone has gone to, applied, anything. To Saint Francis School of Nursing, it's in Trenton, New Jersey. I was wondering if they're as great as they seem. From what I've read and the NCLEX pass rate and everything it seems to be quite phenomenal. Also as long as you have the correct credentials, looks like they fairly easily work with you. I was just wondering if anyone had any insite. I am extremely excited about my journey and I am always 10 steps ahead. Thanks in advance!!!!!

Knew the school and some of its grads well. It was way back but a great group of professional nurses. Had a good program.
NOTE: Am using PAST tense. It was a good school (and I liked their pin & cap.) Is that telling you something about how long ago?!?
Good luck.
Thank you! I was talking to my instructor about it and she said it's a great program, high pass rates and all like that. So I mean that's definitely a plus, I've been doing so much research for so many schools but that school really has my eye. Thanks so much for the insight! :)
Haven't been out to that neck of the woods lately, but right down the street towards Chambersburg was the best Italian hotdogs in Jersey.

Hi, I'm afraid I don't have good news for you. I worked there for many years and live in the area. I just finished all of my pre reqs and have been working as an LPN for 6 yrs now. I had no idea how hard the TEAS test is. I've taken the HESI for mercer county community college and passed with no studying. Not so with the TEAS. They require a min. Of 65 to pass . I just rescheduled to take the test for the THIRD time. Yes that's right, I said third! I can't get over 62! Sad but true. Unless you're very good with algebra and chemistry, which I am absolutely not. It can be quite difficult to get in. if you're graduating from mercer county vo tech LPN program, you won't need to take the TEAS. I UNFORTUNATELY did not..... good luck to you, maybe I'll see you there.
I unfortunately am not a graduate of that program. I just have to finish my Prereqs. That's crazy! I mean those are my better subject and my weaker subjects are the English I speak and write it obviously. The technical stuff when it comes to breaking it down, I'm more of a formula type of person. Hopefully we will see eachother there. I do have to finish pre reqs though. Have you checked out Jersey College. A few friends of mine checked it out and hear it's pretty good but i don't know. Thanks for the breaking news lol if you're worried about the TEAS though try the apps for the phones they work really well! Goodluck

hey brookeraelyn, where did you go for an lpn program?
Pinelands School of Practical Nursing it's in Toms River, NJ. They have some great teachers I really love them. They are one of the few schools who deals with pretty much all hospitals for your clinicals which I love!

Hi! I'm a recent RN grad from St. Francis! I honestly had a love/hate relationship with it. They give you the education to be an amazing nurse, but on the bad side, "**** runs down hill". When things happen, or people talk, pretty much anything, they kinda end up being upset with the students. I didn't love it, but it was worth it! I hope that helped!!
