I just got accepted to Saint Francis and If there are any current students on the forum, I would love to hear how the current students like the program. I went to the open house and it was awesome. The sim lab was awesome and not to mention doing clinicals at such a big hospital.

I did two post-MSN certificates with them and worked in their level one trauma center for 10 years. Loved it, very supportive of nursing personnel. Good luck.

Are you from the Peoria area?

I'm from the bloomington area, but thinking very hard about moving to peoria. I'm just kinda reluctant about moving to peoria though because my family is so established in bloomington.

Its only about 45 minutes from Peoria to BLM - easy commute.

I will say that the school/hospital are not in the best area of town. And, nothing to say that if you go to school in Peoria, you have to stay.

Good luck with your decision.

I am applying to SFMC for the fall 2016 start. I would like to know about how the experience and application process is. I'm super excited to finally be getting closer to my dream of becoming a labor and delivery nurse.
