Saddleback Nursing Fall 2016

Hey there!

I am applying for Saddleback's nursing program for fall 2016! Does anyone know the average amount of points students need to get accepted or the lowest they have previously taken? Who else is applying for fall 2016?! Good luck to everyone!!!

moana contreras - i believe i only had 61 points i think, but i'm in the 1st pool. However I would be at 77 after summer.

msnnine that is great. You have a good chance of getting in ill bet. Do you have work experience? I was thinking of retaking the TEAS exam to boost my points.

moana contreras yeah, but i only got 5 points for it since it wasn't like CNA, EMT, or MA or anything like that. It was PT aide.

ooh that might be a good idea. does saddleback take the highest TEAS score?

msnnine, Saddleback said if I take the new version TEAS 6 at another school/ATI testing location that offers it September 1st, I can try to score higher on that test and they will use that score over the one I got in November on the TEAS 5.

That's cool that they will let you take the TEAS test again before the 365 day mark. Do you think you'll take it? I had 83 points.

lis_18 I took the TEAS V in November 2015, so they will use that score and the new TEAS 6 score to see which is higher for September's application period. The only problem is that I will need to see what school is offering the TEAS 6 September 1st that way I can take it before the end of the application period.

Did anyone have 65 points and got accepted?

I had 65 points when I turned in my application but i'm not sure about the total amount once it was processed. I'm alternate #5 for Fall 2016 and I will be offered a spot in Spring 2017 without the need to re-apply if nothing opens up in the fall.

that is awesome karlita12! I am pretty sure you will get a spot for Fall. I will be applying in September with anywhere between 60-70 points. I was curious what the lowest amount of points were. The office told me the scores were high so I have to boost my points. Thanks for your reply Karlita! :)
