Saddleback Nursing Fall 2016

Hey there!

I am applying for Saddleback's nursing program for fall 2016! Does anyone know the average amount of points students need to get accepted or the lowest they have previously taken? Who else is applying for fall 2016?! Good luck to everyone!!!

Hi there! I am also applying this week to Saddleback for Fall 2016. I am also unsure on the average amount of points for accepted students. Glad we can wait together!

yayy congratulations!! It is definitely going to be a long, dreadful wait until we hear back but at least we can talk about it and make it a little more pleasant:) My friend was just accepted for spring 2016 and she just told me a girl in her class had a 65 and she had a 69 so I'm assuming mid 60's-70's? I'm not sure how it all works but I'm guessing it also depends on how many people apply and what not.. Anyways I'm glad someone replied:)

Welcome! Your thread has been moved to our Nursing Programs forum.

Are you planning on applying anywhere else too?

I'm also applying to CSULB, Fresno State, SDSU (all long shots but I figured it doesn't hurt to try) and Santa Ana.. what about you?

Hi Everyone! I am applying for Fall 2016 as well. From what I was told, they accepted people into their program who had points in the low 60's. It all depends on the pool of applicants. I am a bit nervous yet excited. I have two small kids and I know it will be a bit more challenging but the sacrifice, tears, and commitment will be worth it. :writing: :arghh::yes:

Hi!

Ok great, thanks for the information! I am going in today to turn in my application so I will ask them as well and let you guys know what they say. Aww how cute! It may be a little bit more challenging but you can 100% do it! So excited to hear back, going to be a long wait:( Do you mind me asking how many points you have?

My pleasure ewhite93. I only have 56 points at the moment. I am finishing my AA and volunteering for additional points. I am hoping for the best. I will be done by Spring 2017 so I will need to apply again in September if I need to. Fingers crossed! If you don't mind me asking you how many points do you have? I am sure a lot of people will have 60 and up so I may not have a chance but it is worth trying. :)

I'm planning on Saddleback, Santa Ana and Golden West.

ewhite93- Did you turn in your app for Saddleback this week? How did it go? I think I will drop mine off on Monday.

Oh right on! Well it all works out exactly how it's supposed to, hopefully we can all get in:) Yes I went in and they told me the 14 semesters they've offered the nursing program that they have never not taken anyone thats had 70 points. He said they take lower but 70 has always been the guaranteed number. I am at 68 right now so fingers crossed as well!

IBCLCOC do you mind me asking how many you have?

ewhite93-I am coming in on the low side for Saddleback between 56-61 depending on where they put my healthcare work experience. Fingers and toes crossed for all of us! Hope the wait flies by.
