Hello everyone! Thought I'd start a thread for everyone who is also applying to Sacramento City College for Fall 2016. We can help each other stay updated with any news, I know it definitely helps me through this long waiting period! We can also share knowledge if anyone has any questions about the application process! Good luck to all :)

@JanelleRD Same here.. been to counselor today - waste of time! If you have an AA or other multicultural course (like history) they may consider it, but didn't work for me. I'm ineligible too, this is a joke.

Haven heard anything yet from SCC but I just got qualified at ARC. got the email from arc yesterday! so hoping and praying!

Awesome news! When did you turn your application in? I am wondering if they go through the packets in order that they were received. Do you know what number you were?

Don't really remember exactly. I think I signed in at around the 40's mark at ARC. I was amongst the first 5 to sign in at SCC tho! What a difference between the two schools rite???

Hello everyone! I submitted my application around 2pm the day of the deadline (March 4th), and my application status still says "received" as of March 16th. Based on an earlier comment stating an updated "qualified" application status, I am beginning to worry that I messed something up in my application and it has been disqualified or something awful like that. Has anyone else received a change in status for their application? I also applied to ARC, and still have an application received status, although I am a returning applicant who qualified last semester. The anxiety is setting in BIG TIME!

HOW WEIRD! My ARC application was changed to "Qualified" about an hour ago! Still waiting on Sac City...

Where do you find "qualified"..I have been checking my Gmail almost daily..

Any thoughts/ideas as to when Sac. City will notify those who are in? I know the website says 4-6 weeks after the closing date and this Friday (4/15) it will be 6 weeks.
