Sac State Nursing for Spring 2018

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Is anyone here applying in October for Spring 2018 nursing program at Sac State? I know this is the last semester to apply for the older criteria and CSUS will be changing the selection criteria for Fall 2018. What's your gpa? Teas score? points? I haven't taken the teas yet and I'm super nervous.

I am! Taking my TEAS this Sat....SUUUUPPPER nervous. I need to get an 88.9% to be at 77 points. The pressure is on! Usually the Spring semester points are a bit lower than Fall, so I would be surprised if the cut-off is higher than that. Anxious to test so I can officially submit my app and let the longest two months of my life begin!

Is it your first time taking it?

Good luck :)

It is. I actually registered to take it this Sat and again the following Friday, just in case I am not where I need to be. I think I should be O.K. though; I have been reviewing for a few months and feel pretty good. We shall see!

If you've been reviewing for months, it sounds like you're prepared! The ATI practice exams really helped me. But it seems like you have a handle on it!

Hi everyone! I applied for the Spring 2018 and have 82 points, assuming I calculated correctly. I am super nervous and am not super patient so the next couple of months are going to be excruciating.

Hi everyone! I will be applying to the Spring 2018 program as well. Quick question:

I took a class that I believe completes the societal-cultural requirement, but it is not listed as one of the choices on the course list. If I add this to my GPA, I would be given 1 more point on my application, which would really help. Before I email Teri, I was wondering if anyone was in the same boat and had this requirement waived. Thanks in advance, and good luck everyone :)

I have emailed Teri a few times and she is usually responds quickly. I would email her with the specifics so you know where you stand. Hopefully you are able to use the course and get that extra point. Good luck!

What is the class?

What is the class?

It was an anthropological customs and culture course that also integrated food (nutrition major)

It satisfied the United State Cultural Pluralism requirement at my college

Has anyone been able to reach Teri since the end of last week? I've sent a couple emails on different topics, but haven't heard back from her.

Hmmmm, ya I'd shoot an email over if you haven't already. And if you haven't tried assist, maybe check there too.

When did you send them? I bet she's very busy because the application period closes in less than a week. I'm sure she will respond soon though.
