Sac State Fall 2013 Applicants

Published

Hello Everyone,

I am about to send in my application to CSU Sacramento for Fall 13 and was wondering if there are any other people in the same predicament. Would love love to hear your experiences as well.

Hey everyone,

It's been awfully quiet here!! Anyway, does anyone know how to access the Sacct?

I don't think anyone has been registered in their classes yet, so we probably can't access any course info on SacCT.

I was able to login, but no class information is listed.

Are we supposed to do something on SacCT right now?

Hi wanisai

It's quiet because everyone who was accepted (or most of us) has switched over to the class Facebook page. If you PM me with your email address, I can add you, if you want. Join us! You can also search for the page on FB, but it seems kind of hit or miss that way. It's called "Sac State BSN Spring 2015."

See you around!

Would you please post the PDF on facebook that I put on here. The articles are directed to your class (spring 2015).

VintageSwagger, would you recommend purchasing the paper book/e-book bundle, or just the e-books? E-books are definitely cheaper, but I don't know how user friendly PageBurst is.

Kayla,

I have heard mixed reviews since they just started the E-book thing last semester.. I personally like having the paper book for studying because reading for hours on a computer is exhausting and there is a ton of reading. It may be a little more expensive but I always sell my books to the next semester or on amazon so it works out well. Hope that helps. :-)

I've always used paper books, so I was leaning toward that option! Thank you for the advice! Also, does the price of books each semester stay relatively consistent?

First semester is always the most expensive... The other semesters you should just buy books from students above you to save money. It was always way cheaper.

Okay, great! Thank you, VintageSwagger!

Hi VintageSwagger,

The program director sent us the direct link to that newsletter. It was great! So informative. It was really nice of you to post it here. I'm pretty sure, though, that everyone in our program had it sent directly to them.

HEY GUYS! I am applying to the nursing program at Sac State for Spring 2014. I have 85 points, will that be enough to get in?

Don't be silly! You'll get in.

I applied with 85 points, and I got in! don't think the point cut-off will make that big of a jump either!
