Hello all,

I've noticed that no-one made a thread for the accelerated nursing program for fall 2018 students so I decided to start one. Feel free to share any knowledge on the program :)

I tried calling to see if my 2 chemistry classes would suffice for their pre-req but they told me to look at the reference sheet they offer online. I looked at it before calling and was the reason why i called. I still am unsure if my classes would qualify the description is very vague. I do not understand why they just cant tell us if our classes match with theirs. Anyone else in my boat or was? Please help!

I still havent heard back yet from either campus. Does anyone have any insight into the order of how they review applications? I have a Masters degree with a 3.725 GPA and overall cumulative GPA of 3.15, with a 4.0 in all the science perquisites, but I'm worried that I havent heard anything back yet.

No HESI exam needed for this program m. You might be thinking about NJCU.

When did you take the chem classes and what were the names of the class? That seems to be the main thing they look at. I had a similar problem with stats. Should be able to give you a better answer once I know :)

Based on last year's forum it looks like they send out decisions in batches. I'm not sure if there is a specific order. I originally thought maybe in the order of submission but I don't think thats true since I submitted in January and someone else in April and we heard back at the same time.

I don't think it is since it didn't fall under their 5 year rule. I took it in 2005 or 2006 and it was fine.
