Hello all,

I've noticed that no-one made a thread for the accelerated nursing program for fall 2018 students so I decided to start one. Feel free to share any knowledge on the program :)

I tried doing this but it said my NetID wasn't found :( Hopefully get it in the mail soon

I haven't received it either. I went to this link and was able to retrieve my NetID:

I am waiting too, I have bachelor degree from foreign university and my cumulative gpa is 3.88 with all A's in the prerequisite classes. Curious to know what criteria they use to select the students for the program bcz there are many qualified pp.

Ah, hopefully my NetID is available soon! This is telling me I don't have a NetID yet.

Hello everyone!

Last week I was accepted to both campuses and I'll be going to Newark. I had a 3.6 GPA undergrad and 4.0 GPA for all prerequisites. I have been working as a birth and postpartum doula (mostly attending birth in hospitals,) childbirth educator, and homebirth midwife assistant for the last four years. I'm continuing to the masters/DNP program to become a nurse-midwife following this program. I'm so excited to meet everyone!

Being self-employed and not making a ton of money doing what I do, I don't have health insurance. I'm trying to figure out the most economical way to make sure all of my immunizations and whatnot are up to date and get the boosters that I need. Is anyone else in my situation? I'm frustrated that the school health insurance won't take effect until August 15th and I'm wondering if I can go to the Rutgers Health Center anyway to fulfill the immunizations and lab work requirements?

I called on Friday and the office said they are far from being done making final decisions, but it is getting late and it makes me worried as well

I had the same problem. It was available for me after I got an email. I then used my A number from the email to find my NetID and was able to find it.

First off congrats on being accepted into the accelerated nursing program! I applied for fall 2018 at Rutgers and was wondering if you could tell me what the classes are like there? Is most of the information posted on a "blackboard"/do they mostly consist of power point presentations / do we have homework assignments and if its worth it to buy the books? Hope the program is going well for you!
