Hi guys. I was just wondering if anyone has started any group chats or anything for the Spring 2025 cohort? Also, has anyone started prepping for the semester yet? or started the clinical clearance forms? Just wondering where everyone is at with the onboarding process. Super excited to meet you all at orientation 🙂

As of right now I don't think there is a group chat, but we could definitely start one on orientation day! I have personally been lightly reviewing because it has been some time since I have been in school. Still starting the process with clinical clearance forms.

Sounds good! I'm pretty much in the same boat. I started working on the clinical clearance forms; I feel like the physical, background check and drug testing will probably take longer to complete. Hopefully the A2 exam we have to take isn't too bad. I haven't started reviewing, but I do plan on going over some material(lightly, I don't want to stress about it too much). Is the A2 exam new? I haven't heard about it in previous forums.

When I did the background check + drug testing it was pretty fast process honestly. I believe it is new to the Rutgers ABSN program, HESI A2 is required prior to admission in some nursing programs as well as the TEAS. Rutgers does not require an exam before entrance so I believe they are going to make it a requirement in the future?

Hello All!

im also starting this January 2025.

Few questions: What time is orientation Jan 9th and where do we go

(just to clarify the HESI math and anatomy portion will be given on orientation day)

Penny sent out the updated castlebranch log in which alot of the info is repeated from initial application ...im  personally waiting until after orientation to complete becuase we may receive more guidance with how to proceed as they (castle branch) provides an additional physical form (different from the rutgers one we just completed) so Im thinking we can just re use that recent physical form? I cant imagine we need ANOTHER physical?

Did we create a group chat for our chohort? if so what is it ? should we create one on facebook now? or can we create a group chat in wattasapp so patient info is encrypted and won't take up as much room on our phone compared to regular group chat

xox looking forward to meeting you all
