Rutgers Spring 2018 ABSN

Hello! I've just completed my application for the Spring 2018 Rutgers ABSN program (applying for both New Brunswick and Newark) and was wondering if anyone else is applying as well? Anyone have an idea how many people are accepted at each campus? Also - does anyone know what the academic calendar will be like, i.e. is there any type of short break in the summer? I was looking around on the website and can't seem to find a tentative calendar for some reason.

The due date is really 9/15 even thought nursing c As always said 8/18. I don't get that but I'm in the same boat as you... desperate to know. I've been focusing on end of September for answers though. Happy to obsess with you here any time! Lol. Good luck

I believe For spring admission the deadline is Sept 15.

I have a question is anyone still able to access their application through nursingcas?

I think if you sent it before nursingcas changed the cycle (so before august 18th) you don't have access to it anymore. I'm in the same situation, it disappeared from my list of sent applications.

Have any of you guys tried calling the Admissions Office lately? I swear every time I try to call it goes straight to their voicemail, and then when I finally do get through I think it's the receptionist that works for their office and she was kind of rude when she was answering my questions. Just wondering if anyone's had any similar experiences..

I actually called this morning and spoke to someone. I think I called the New Brunswick campus. Trying calling them the guy I spoke with was nice.

Haha I'm also happy to obsess here about waiting for a decision... like someone else mentioned, the NursingCAS deadline was mid-August but the actual Rutgers deadline is not until 9/15 so I'm thinking that means we can expect a decision by end of September or early/mid-October? Anyone know if they mail an actual letter or if it's just an email notification? And! I was also trying to access my NursingCAS application just now but like someone said, I can't access it anymore... kind of frustrating to not have a clue how much progress has been made on application reviews (if any at all). Let us know if you hear anything valuable from the admissions office!
