Rutgers-CCC Blackwood Nursing Acceptance Fall 2017 Cohort

Published

Hi I wanted to make this thread in order to ascertain those among us that have been accepted. Word on the street is that around this date (Feb15th) last year acceptance letters were emailed. No word as of yet, so now I'm just playing the waiting game lol.

Anyhow lets keep one another up to date with any new developments :)

Great news... I also received my acceptance letter this morning via an email attachment! See you ladies there! Congrats to you all as well. If you're still awaiting notification, perhaps they don't all go out at the exact same time? Plus, seats may have the chance of opening up if people who are accepted don't confirm their attendance by March 3rd.

Also, alsm1, I'm a guy but thanks nonetheless lol.

Bela81, The emails were sent today, but the letter is dated February 17th...

woops! Sorry about that, I noticed that when I saw the picture of your letter lol Congrats again!

Can't wait to meet everyone :)

I too have been accepted but do not know much about the program. How many students do they accept and do you know when our clinicals will be?

Cm70005, supposedly they accept 50 people in each cohort. As far as clinicals they try to keep us in hospitals around the South Jersey area; I would think we won't touch actual patients with a pulse until the second full semester. The first semester's skill lab is with dummies probably.

By the way, congratulations!

I got in as well. I'm so excited, can't wait to meet all of you and congrats.

Hi everyone! I'm in the ABSN program in New Brunswick and will be starting Level 2 next week. I have 2 few books I'll no longer be using and want to post them to fellow RU nursing students. You'll most likely be needing them for your Level 1 Foundations class. Both are selling on Amazon for about $50 each, but I'm offering them both for $50t total. They have been used and have a few practice tests already filled in, but the books are in great condition. Please let me know if you're interested in purchasing both or just one of these to save you some money and we can work on shipping and payment from there. Congrats on your acceptance!
