I wanted to create a new discussion thread for people who are applying to the Rutgers Camden ABSN program for Fall 2019.

I went to Rutgers Camden to their traditional BSN program. I thought it was very challenging and I stopped work in my first year of core nursing courses. You can’t work if you’re in that program. It’s very hard! I can’t imagine working in the ABSN. Must be twice as difficult. Good luck!

Has anyone received an acceptance letter yet? I thought they said we should hear something by April. Im waiting to hear back. I applied for the fall 2019 cohort. If anyone wants to email me whose also waiting to hear back heres my email: [email protected]

Hi Claudia,

I was accepted on April 3rd. I spoke to another person that I know applied and their status is still pending. I believe the deadline is April 15th to have a decision.

They don’t send letters. You have to go online to your admissions application and click check status. That’s where your status will either say “in process”, “admitted” or “not admitted”. Definitely check, you never know it could already be updated!!!

Oh wow I didn't know that. I just checked and it said no decision has been made yet. Did you have to pay a $70 admissions fee? I don't think I ever payed that but maybe thats just for first time undergraduates? I earned my BA from Rutgers so maybe I didn't have to? Uhg I hope I did this right.

Yeah I paid the $70 application fee and then once I accepted the offer I had to pay $150 to claim my spot. I’m sure you did it right. No decision made is better than a denial lol keep positive!!

Tomorrow is the deadline I believe. Set your alarm to midnight tonight and you should know most likely. I’m hoping for you!!

Im a re-enrollment student so maby the deadline is different bc still no decision. ?‍♀️
