Has anyone applied for the Rush University 2020 Spring Masters in Nursing direct entry for non-nurses with a bachelors degree. I wanted to know how far everyone was in their application processs...

If people are going to the GEM first look, what are you planning to wear? Professional attire?

Yes I was thinking of wearing professional attire. It will probably be better to be over dressed than under dressed!

I agree! I’m wearing slacks and a blouse, more business causal. Does anyone here know any current students that have gave them insight on the interview or program?

I feel like I’ve read everything I can online but I want more information!

Hey guys! Since this program is for a master's program for non-nursing majors, I am curious as to what type of degree everyone else has. I just graduated with a bachelor's degree in Health Science. Also, does everyone who applied receive an interview?

I also have a degree in Health Science pre clinical! No not everyone is interviewed, you are invited.

Does any one have an idea of how many people they are interviewing?

Hi,

I did my interview and she asked about things on my resume, recommenders, issues I foresee with the program (logistical such as moving, transportation)! Interview was like a conversation!

Thank you I thought questions would more along the lines of "why do you want to be a nurse" "why our school" "what do you bring to the program" and such and such. How was GEM first look?

I did my interview via Skype and was unable to attend GEM first look. I am curious how it was as well. Now that interviews are over, I am excited to hear back from the school. It looks like the waitlist for the program is extensive from previous forums.

During First Look they said they will send out decisions on October 4th!
