Hey! I just submitted my application for the fall 2018 GEM program at Rush, and I thought I'd start a new thread where applicants can compare stats, share thoughts, and/or ask questions.
I'm new here, but it looks like there's some great information in previous GEM threads. If the timeline is the same as last year's, interviews should take place in early February 2018, and decisions should be made by early March. For what it's worth, it looks like several people received invitations for interviews at Rush within 48 hours after their application status changed to "verified" on the NursingCAS portal last year.
Declined because I decided on a different program. Congratulations to those who accepted and to those that are on the waitlist, may you breathe a little easier knowing there's one more spot available :) Best wishes on all of your paths to nursing!
Hi! I just found this thread and I would love to get some advice. I was accepted to DePaul's MSN program for their winter cohort and was planning on going there, but I just got off the waitlist for Rush and need to give them an answer asap. Does anyone have any reasons why they picked Rush over other programs like DePaul? I keep going back and forth and would love some input :)
Congrats to those who got accepted. I have a question, Would you put PA shadowing on your application? I was once applying for PA school and now I am not.

Just requested to join the fb group. I'm pretty much set on going to Rush. I got accepted to Johns Hopkins as well but its way too expensive for me.
