Hello All!

I just submitted my supplemental application for Rush University and I was wondering if anyone else had applied? If so, how long after your application was verified by NursingCAS did you get an interview?

So if get out of the waitlist, for example, do we have to pay $350

Yes you have two weeks to accept and that acceptance includes your $350 payment to Rush.

Hey i heard back and I just got rejected no waitlist or nothing I'm very confused about it. I have been a CNA for a year, worked prior to that as a personal aid for two people with disabilities and volunteered in a hospital for about 50 hours. I also have a good GPA and no C's on my prereqs. I am not sure where I fell short on my application to not even be waitlisted. So excited for you all though, best of luck!

I'm really sorry Rendlau! I'm sure you're scratching your head and you are disappointed. It's just so competitive. You looking at Elmhurst too?

I am sorry to hear that Don't give up this happen to me last year. I got rejected by most of the schools I applied. I started all over and began to volunteer at a local community clinic, retook the GRE 2 times, found an extra job. You can do it!! Reapply for the spring 2018

Thank you both for the encouragement! I am planning on reapplying for spring hopefully with an improved application, I applied to two other programs in chicago, but Rush is definitely where I want to go if i can get in. I didn't end up finishing my application to elmhurst, but hopefully will hear good news from other programs, if not spring it is!

For those still interested in the stats of admitted students.

My undergraduate GPA was a 3.1 from UCLA. and my prereq GPA was a 4.0 For the GRE I scored a 5 on the AWA, 165 Verbal and 150 Quant.

I have over 200 hours clinical volunteer hours, and 3 years of teaching experience.

Got my acceptance yesterday and I just submitted my confirmation payment! Also got my white coat from them! Who all is definitely going to Rush? So excited!

I submitted my payment today. But did not get any information about a white coat or access to the portal. How long did it take for you to receive the white coat email and have you been able to access your username for the RUconneced portal?
