Sent in my application Monday, which was the due date for applications. Waiting for a response. Anyone else in the same boat? Any alums with experiences to share? I applied to the PMHNP specialty so I'm especially interested to hear from anyone who's trying for that or has already done it.

Congratulations and good luck, iunurse! Chinicy, I am not aware of any metrics but also didn't look too hard… Rush was really the only program that met my needs at this point so I just applied and figured "what will be will be."

I haven't scheduled yet, need to grab a webcam (even though I'm local)! I think the openings were in early April

DanaerysTargaryen, I have not heard any news at this time. However, I am hopeful we will receive an interview and acceptance. I will keep you posted and vice versa.

Thanks! I will do the same for you, of course. I know that in a sense no news is good news (or neutral news at least), I'm just realizing how much I wish I hadn't put all my eggs in one basket with this.. at least I know to apply to multiple programs next time even if some are less than ideal in meeting my needs, if it comes to that.

Applied Acute DNP, called the admission office today. My director is out of town, and will be back this week and review my application.

Thanks for the update, mgfam. It is hard not to get antsy or fear and/or assume the worst after not hearing anything for so long. I know that realistically it could mean any number of things, guess I'm just getting to a point where I regret putting all my eggs in one basket and wish I'd applied to a few more programs even if they were not ideal.

Danaerys, I'm am so happy you received the opportunity to interview. I am sure you will do well. Just continue to have hope. In the meantime, remain calm and focus on all your positive attributes.
