Ok, Am I an idiot? I just signed up for RUE. Any comments? Am I spending too much money. Will it take me the rest of my life to complete? Please someone tell me I didn't make a terrible mistake. :uhoh21: :

ok nawn, you should have asked yourself these questions before you signed up!! many people like rue, many people don't. the thing with any publishing company is if you like their material, if it helps you pass and if you did not want to dig around for your own study purposes. ec website has it where you can download for free the content guide for each nursing content class and it tells you what exactly to study. then you get either the recommended texts, or stuff you have at home, or look on the internet or whatever to find out info on each of these items. sooo, it is really up to you on how you want to study! good luck to you
Yes, that is kind of what I was thinking. I'm hoping that Rue's study system will be worth the money. At any rate I've already signed up sooo..... Thank you for your response, it did help.

I used Chancellors study guides. I also used one RUE guide that belonged to a friend. Both were good and really made me feel ready to take the exam. RUE, nor any other study guide alone will help you get thru this program tho. You must be motivated and disciplined (things money can't buy). I tried for nearly 5 years, but finally I got thru it. Set a goal of the date you will complete each test - post it on your frig or somewhere you have to look at it each day and keep on schedule. It will work. Good luck
How much did Chancellors study guides cost?
When I attended LPN school we tested every week, I remember thinking that was crazy I'll NEVER remember all of this. I am going to remember how hard it was and discipline myself and keep on track. You know you never really felt ready for the tests but somehow the information sticks. I just hope I will have enough confidence and money to take the tests in a timely manner.
Thank you for the information and thank you for letting me know that you made it.
