I'm hoping someone can help me, please!
I'm in a transition program, doing OB rotation. Part of our care plan assessment's requirements is to include information using Rubin's theory and the tasks involved.
I am having such a hard time finding any information about these "tasks." Nothing in any of my books (OB or theory) also have done a lot of on-line searches without much luck. The most that I've found so far is that it involves transitional stages in which one works toward maternal role attainment, involving: 1.) seeking safe passage, 2.) ensuring the acceptance of the child by others 3.) bonding with the fetus and 4.) learning to give of oneself.
Does anyone have any more information on this theory????
