Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has and would share their standing orders and policy for RSV. I am redoing the Pediatric Policies and orders. It would be a great help.

We don't have standing orders, exactly. All kids who are symptomatic for respiratory illness are isolated for contact and droplet whether or not they've had any positive screening tests. This winter, due to H1N1, we're following "modified contact and droplet" meaning N95 masks, eye protection, gowns and gloves at all times. The orders are all individualized.
