Hi,
Are there any courses that a Registered Practical Nurse in Toronto, Ontario can take to increase his/her earning potential, without having to take Registered Nursing program? What options do a new graduate and one who is already working in the Practical Nursing field have?
Thank you for your responses.

Look into addititonal training/education for dialysis (usually employer provided when hired by a dialysis unit), orthopedics and operating room technician. These are the only ways an LPN can increase their wages and their skill set.

There are several courses at my local community college for RPNs but none increase your wage. The ones that Fiona mentioned can be found and increase your pay,but there are some(like the 14 week cardiac program I am taking this fall) that don't get you any more money.
Thank you guys!
