route to taking prerequisites

I'm considering starting to take the prerequisites for nursing school this summer and would like to know in which order these should be taken. For e.g., should microbiology be taken before A&P, or microbiology after chemistry?

Your school counselor will tell you which classes need to be taken first. They are usually a wonderful asset to be used!

Good Luck to you!

Hi Des,

Like Julie said you should probably check with your advisor on this one. Depending on what you need to take though, I would recommend that you take Bio. and Chem before you take your Anatomy and Micro. I've found that the basic bio. and chem. courses give you a good background going into your other science courses.

Just my opinion and what worked for me though.

Good luck!
