Rounding for drug calc-NCLEX style

I have always been great with drug calc. Never failed a drug calc exam in NS. In nursing school we just did basic rounding, we were never asked to round to nearest tenth or hundreth. On the hesi exit I got ALL of my drug calc. wrong. It was all due to incorrectly rounding. I understand how to round when it comes to pills. I'm at lost on how NCLEX wants us to round. For an example: answer may be 0.877771ml, round to the nearest tenth, would it be 0.9? or what about round to nearest hundreth, would it be 0.88? I'm so confused. NCLEX on monday and I want to get this clarified before testing!!!!

the number before the decimal is the ones place. After the decimal is tens, hundredths, and then thousandths place

I know on Kaplan questions if rounding is required, it will say to round to the nearest whatever place. Sometimes I've noticed that it has said don't round--tricky, tricky! :)
