Are there any Roseman University students who graduated from their ABSN programs (or if you know anyone that graduated from there) have any trouble getting licensed by the CA Board of Nursing and/or getting a job in California?
I would love to get to know your experiences!

I’m a current Roseman student and I know a bunch of people who just graduated and moved back to California. Three of them had jobs lined up before they even got their license. As of today all three are working 2 in NorCal and one in SoCal.

How is the program there? Can you also work while going through the program?

There is no way to live there part-time even though it is a hybrid program. Although living in vegas isn't the most "ideal" but it will save you time and money by not having to commute between CA and NV. Hopefully that answers your question ?
Hi @ayuhime. Would you mind if I asked you a few more questions via email? [email protected]

Hi everyone,
Nice to meet all of you guys. I got accepted to Roseman's Fall 2020 cohort. I just want to know what you guys who have already been in the program think of the program. What kind of assignment, projects, clinicals did you guys have to do? Also, what is this program's accreditation? Is the quality of education different since it's a block program compared to a traditional program? And how are you guys paying for this program? Your help would be much appreciated.

I graduated from roseman's ABSN program June 2019 and endorsed my license in CA. I'll try to answer the questions the best that I can.
1. I think the program is fair. It's a bit over priced for what you get, but at the end of the day time is more valuable than money imo. It is a highly intense and fast paced program. No one in the cohort had a part time job. Also, it can be very intimidating maintain 90% on all the exams. (I need to think more about this question).
2. The assignments: majority is all on canvas and it involves questions and discussions amongst peers. Projects is similar, but mostly online. There's one field work project you do with your group mates in the program. The clinicals: You work three 12 hour shifts for four to six weeks after certain blocks. It's pretty much self-explanatory.
3. I cannot remember exactly what the accreditation is, but if you are concerned about endorsing your license to CA, then you will not have any issues.
4. Quality of education is different because you have to completely adjust going from semester to block schedule. Also, being in the nursing program that is mostly online....you gotta adjust your study habits and prioritize your time.
5. I paid through loans and family support. I think most of my peers took loans out.
Hopefully this answers your questions

I graduated from Roseman in June 2018 and almost everyone was from California. I might have known 2 or 3 people who had a part time job while in school. Most don't however; the pace can be grueling. You must live in Las Vegas while attending and only visit California, otherwise, you will be on the plane all of the time. They also have spontaneous labs or events at times due to unforeseen circumstances that you MUST attend. If you do not, you will be held back to the next Cohort. It may be a hybrid school with classes online, but you are in the building much of the time. You have much needed study groups there (it's fast paced!) and all of your labs and exams are in the building.
Something to note about Roseman. They are strict! If they tell you are at risk for being held back and will have to join the cohort behind you. Believe them! It happened to plenty of people I knew there.
I graduated from Roseman in June 2018. You must live in Las Vegas or your life will be Hell. As mentioned above, they occasionally do have spontaneous labs that you MUST be present for. And yes, they are quick to hold people back to the cohort behind you. It happened plenty of times.
I got by CA RN license by endorsement without any issues. Roseman is a good school and provides everything you need for a CA license.
