Same! I finally received an invite earlier today. I'm surprised to see how affordable the flights from LAX to Salt Lake City are...only $137

Oh wow, that's a great price! My closest airport is Ontario, flights are about $230-$300. I'll look into LAX instead now, are you excited?

I have also received an invite for Feb. 11 in Utah! Do you guys have any clue what they would ask for the writing portion of the interview? Kinda nervous ?

Yay! I'm nervous too, you are definitely not alone in this.

I've been doing some research on the previous threads for Rosemans, apparently, everyone gets different questions and only need to respond to one of them. So far the questions I've seen are:

- What are 3 important aspects in teamwork and how would they relate to nursing?

- Something about motivation and give an example

- Define professionalism. Provide examples of how you would exhibit this as a student nurse on and off-campus

- Describe a time where you didn't have enough information to do a task efficiently. How did you overcome that?

Aw thank you so much! This definitely helps!

Yes I looked into Ontario as well as it's closer, but the flights were still more expensive than if you leave from LAX. Also, I found that it's cheapest if you take your flight on the 10th and return on the 12th

*Posted this on other thread as well*

*Henderson preferred, first-time applicant*

I see that this thread, although geared towards ABSN, has a few comments regarding BSN. I just wanted to first say that this thread has been very helpful. I will mention that my last 60 GPA coincided with the average for this program (3.3) while my pre-req. GPA was below average, my TEAS also coincides with the average (79%) - I am a Fall 2020 BSN applicant - I was offered an interview first by phone (directly from my advisor), but received the formal invitation immediately through email. It is set for February 11, 2020 - It's important for anyone reading this to understand that your "numbers" (grades, TEAS, etc.) if NOT exemplary does NOT mean that you are automatically not considered - my advisor, who truly played the role as my advocate reassured me that student's like myself are given these opportunities as well because there is a lot to be proven OFF paper (meaning in person such as during an interview) - do NOT get discouraged - Roseman is my next chance as I have already been denied from one nursing school in the past - I truly appreciate that Roseman even gives students the opportunity to interview in the first place because a good nurse (and nursing student) is MUCH more than grades and testing results - you have to prove that you are a strong and resilient future student ready to represent a competitive program. I now feel better prepared for the interview based on this thread and wish all of you the best of luck... P.S - let me just mention that although the relationship you build with your advisor may not seem of the highest importance initially - it is incredibly vital to your success - you should condone yourself professionally through every email, phone call, etc. because THEY may be the ones vouching for you later - and IMPRESSION IS EVERYTHING! Be consistent, keep them up to date, and always represent yourself in the most professional manner possible. And one last thing... do the work to prepare for the interview! I have done something in preparation every day since basically applying and I applied very early, this is only the second interview pool (this is for Henderson NV, btw) and I have looked through every tab on the Roseman website because I want to be prepared! Do the dirty work, I am hoping this will be all worth it!

According to my advisor, interview invitations for February should go out in the final days of January. If not chosen for that date then the next invitations will be sent out at the end of February for the March date.

Please see my post!

Is this for BSN? My Feb. 11 interview is Henderson, verified in email.

BSN and ABSN candidates are held to different standards, as the ABSN applicant pool is more competitive.

Generally speaking though, I do agree with you that Roseman gives students who would normally be rejected from other nursing schools a chance to prove themselves.

Hi fellow hopeful future nurses!

I’m a first time applicant applying for a spot in the ABSN July 2020 cohort. I’m going to the February 11th interview! My stats are Teas: 91%, 3.57 overall GPA, and I think about 3.66 for the last 60 credits.

The only flights that I could find that work for me get into SLC around 9am and leave around 10:30pm. I was thinking about just hanging out in a Starbucks before and probably just hanging out in the airport after the interview. If anyone wants to join me that’d be awesome, and we can hang out and help each other settle some nerves! We could also maybe Uber together?

I’m so excited for this!!! ?

I land in SLC at 10:10 am through Delta, I'd be happy to share an Uber with you if you want! I leave at 8:35 pm that night too so we can share an Uber back too. Let me know if that works for you! ?
