Roseman University 2021 August cohort

Hey guys I got accepted into the Henderson August 2021 on campus program. Looking to connect with future classmates! Anyone else starting their program this August?

Hii!! I have my interview with Roseman next Wednesday and am hoping to get into the Henderson location! 
 

would you mind sharing how your interview went? And how you prepared for it? I’m super nervous.

Hello! I too have my interview for the 2021 BSN program on 3/10/21! EXCITED!! Hoping for Henderson as I live in California.

For anyone in the future who's reading these forums, my stats are:

79% TEAS

3.3 cumulative GPA

3.1 prereq GPA

I think I did well because I had created a Google drive doc full of past Roseman cohort questions LOL I studied them so much that I think I answered with confidence. I used examples from my experience as a CNA to answer their questions lmao unsure if that did anything to improve my chances of going in ?

How likely do you think people who complete the interview will get in? ?


Congrats! Which campus did you get accepted to? I wonder if the month one does the interview is any indicator of the campus we are sent to.

They told us we would get an answer by March 26.

I got accepted into Henderson campus.  Really depends on how you do but it looks like they take around 3 to 8 per session per campus or something like that. I interviewed in January with like 18 people and from what I know the accepted at least 3 including me from that session into Henderson campus

Hey!  I was wondering if you heard anything about the roommate database just yet that they were going to send out? I've been curious to see if anyone else had heard back about it yet!

Yes, I elected to sign up for the roommate database and did receive a list. It seemed very short though, hopefully they update it as more students accept admission and elect to be added.

Hi!! I was in the interview on March 10th as well! I've been checking my email like crazy LOL, I'm so nervous. What campus are you hoping to get into?

Hey! Me too! I've been refreshing my emails constantly ?? Hoping I get in anywhere, but preferably Henderson LOL How about you? How do you think your interview went? What questions did you get?

 

I got tell me a time where your integrity was challenged, what does professionalism mean to you, how would you deal with a difficult family member, tell me a time you had to show compassion to somebody and be a leader, and I forgot the fifth question. I ended the interview by asking them a bunch of questions and then I asked them personal questions related to nursing.

Same, Im hoping Henderson but I'd be lucky to get in anywhere! 

I got tell me about a time you went above and beyond and how does it relate to nursing, tell me about a time you had to take control of a school/work project, how does caring and compassion relate to nursing, tell me about a time your integrity was challenged. I asked about how/if COVID changed the structure of the curriculum at all and asked about how clinical work in regards to where we end up being placed. I feel like my interview went by pretty quickly which honestly made me super nervous thinking back to it.

Hi!! How long did it take to get the email after your interview? They told us March 26 but I've been anxiously checking my email nonstop LOL
