I got accepted into the 18-month program this January and I am looking for others who have gotten accepted! I am very excited and would love to meet some of my classmates.

Hi heatherisbetter,

I have noticed your posts on a lot of the Roseman University threads and wanted to hear your thoughts on the university so far? I am interviewing at the Henderson campus for absn program in February and was super excited about it until I saw a lot of the negative posts from 2011-2012. Anything you have to share will help!!! Thank you

Hi! I am currently in the 18 Month program and it has been so great so far.. it is very fast paced though. We are in the 4th week and I have already finished a 3 credit class. We have a mid term this week as well. I am not sure how the ABSN works but I am loving this program so far.

Hi Everyone,

I am in the process of applying to Roseman University of Health Sciences 18month BSN program.I have read both encouraging/discouraging information about the program. I just want to get the best out of the program and be the best Nurse i can be there after.I am confused with what campus to apply to,based on what i have read on here. Please, can someone in the program, give the details of both the Henderson and South Jordan campuses,to enable me make the right choice. Thanks

I can only tell you about the Utah campus... I love it! Honestly from the people I know who have been to Henderson say that that program is harder though. I have enjoyed the scenery of Utah and the education is really good because classes are small so you are able to have one on ones with your teacher. Please feel free to ask whatever questions you have.

Im currently on active duty and deployed,I ll need every help as I transition into full academics on my return.Talking about Henderson, do you mean the BSN or ABSN program?Do you get a letter grade for every block of instruction on your transcript or is just a pass/fail? How are the clinical rotations, do you get enough hands on training? What is a typical school day like for you? How is the area around south jordan? What are living apartments like in terms of cost ,any decent priced apartments you would recommend? Sorry for all these questions.

1.BSN 18 month program with didactic lecture in class (worth it)

2. I personally do as I also get a 4.0 on the transcript but can not speak for future cohorts as there may be a change to the grading systems

3.I am actually in clinicals right now (mental health/community health), we are required to get 180 contact hours this block and I have really enjoyed all the experience we are getting. It seems like quite a few hospitals in the area like Roseman students because they are prepared for clinicals well.

4. A typical school day for me is pretty simple depending on the block, lecture or activities from 8-3 with an hour lunch and many breaks throughout the day. Some days we are done by lunch other times it goes up to 3.

5. South Jordan Utah is a beautiful area with mountain views 360*. I personally live in downtown Salt lake city where the rent is more affordable and my commute is about 15 minutes up the freeway. I would recommend if you are looking for rental situation in the area to use KSL.com it is the classified ad and news page that everyone uses here (no one uses CL).

Good Luck.
