My friend applied 8/12 I think and received a rejection last week

I also got a Kira invite! Applied 8/12, verified my application was received 8/15, and got an email from RFU that my application was complete 8/21

for those of you getting updates, is it through email or is your portal getting updated? I'm still paranoid cause I haven't even received a pin number yet 😕
