Members are discussing their experiences with being waitlisted and accepted into a nursing program, specifically focusing on the timing of notifications and the process of being waitlisted. Some members have received acceptance letters after being waitlisted, while others are still waiting for updates. There is also discussion about improving applications for reapplying and increasing science GPA for future applications.
Anyone applying to RFU's CRNA program for May 2025 start? Applications open today in NursingCAS. I don't see the application yet so I plan to check again later in the day.

I got a kira interview last year and got put on hold shortly after then got put on the waitlist. A hold is a hold until further notice. Not the same thing as a waitlist. I didn't find out I was on the waitlist until Spring I think.
GPA 3.1, CCRN, ACLS/BLS/PALS, RN for 4 years. Did about 3 in NeuroICU at a Level1 trauma center/stroke center, traveled for 1 year in SICU/MICU mostly (some CV), now at a SICU at a Level1. Volunteer work, shadow hours. Retook science courses because my GPA obviously isn't the best. Grad stats + advanced pharm.
I haven't heard anything back yet either, but I didn't get confirmation from them until 8/20, so it hasn't been a week yet.
Wow! Seeing the stats that they put on hold makes me nervous. Praying for some good news sometime this week.
I wonder how heavily the questions on the application are weighted when they're making decisions for interview invites as well.

I'm wondering the same thing! I have been obsessively checking my email every hour LOL. Everyone seems like a really qualified candidate!

Thanks for the update! I was reading it wrong and thought we had to have it done within a week of the first notice, and was getting anxious since I hadn't seen the link yet.

Does the confirmation come Rosalind or nursingcas?

When you asked for feedback- were they helpful? Best of luck 🙏🏽
